Я редко высказываю свое мнение о книге, не дочитав ее.
Но тут, как говорится,  не-могу-молчать.
Люди, я открыла для себя Марка Алданова. С упоением читаю "Ключ" - первую книгу трилогии. 
Спасибо уважаемому lord_k за рекомендацию.
